Lucas’s research explores small aldehyde catabolism in Rhodococcus RHA1 to optimize microbial lignin valorization, and seeks to identify and validate novel pathways of polyurethane degradation. Outside of the lab, Lucas enjoys playing the cello and rock climbing!
